The Sea Chair is Made of Man's Pollution to Produce Eco Perches

The expression "One man's trash is another man's treasure," could hardly be taken more literally than through the production of the Sea Chair. Studio Swine takes washed-up garbage combed from beaches and turns it into functional pieces of furniture to clean up the environment and give refuse a second use.

Plastic bottles, bags and containers are some of the items that are melted down and compacted into the unusual three-legged stools. The product of this processing churns out a predominantly black substance; however, chunks of colorful polymer material can be seen marbled into the seat and supports of the object to reference its eclectic composition. Each Swine Studio Sea Chair is as unique as its littered ingredients and even takes rugged shapes for an honest rough-around-the-edges look.
