Scott Waters Captures Soldiers in Training and in Combat

Toronto, Canada based artist Scott Waters is an incredibly talented illustrator with the talent and responsibility of bringing the realities of Canadian participation in the Afghani-war to the world.

Scott Waters spent time with the India Coy., Second Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment with the help of the Canadian Forces Artist Program, an organization that selects two artists every year to follow and create material which will "Allow Canadian artists the opportunity to record Canada’s soldiers in Canada and around the world."

These Scott Waters illustrations are based on a week Waters spent with the member sof the 2 RCR regiment where they trained for specific threats and challenges they would face in Afghanistan, including enemy compound search and reacting to IED strikes.

Scott Waters is currently working on his second series of illustrations for CFAP.
