The New Santo Antonio Museum in Lisbon Replaces the Original

The gorgeous Santo Antonio Museum in Lisbon was recently given a new breath of life in a joint project from Site Specific Arquitectura and P-06 ATELIER. The brand new Museum now sits within a building that has replaced the original.

Located in Lisbon's Baixa Pombalina and Alfama neighborhood, the Santo Antonio Museum boasts new cutting edge exhibition walls that see the display sit flesh with the wall that surrounds it. The gorgeous new panels are incredibly well-lit and complement the updated font and graphics that make up the museum's new visual identity.

The exterior of the newly updated museum is characterized by a large perforated steel facade that plays up the building's geometrical design elements.
