Rose Park Residence Gets a Makeover by Dimitty Andersen Architects

Most add-ons to a house come in the form of a simple extension, but to break out of the norm Dimitty Andersen Architects went one step further to reinvent the Rose Park Residence.

A shipping container was placed on the top part of the house, so that it appears to be floating over the existing structure. It may look slightly out of place, but the connection ensures the main floors are not obstructed in any way or blocked by sunlight. By placing the extension on the top of the Rose Park Residence, the architects also give the residence stellar views.
