Contorting Cube Chandeliers

Robert Hoffman Makes Adjustable Geometric Lighting Pieces

Robert Hoffman is a designer and staff member of the Berlin architecture firm Maaskant. Hoffman recently released an inventive project appropriately named "Modulares Licht" (Modular Light).

The project consists of various cubic and rectangular chandeliers made of aluminum or steel. Lighting levels, lighting intensity and design are all adjustable at the simple tilt of a surface.

Robert Hoffman successfully achieves deceptive simplicity through these pieces. While their initial look is simple, the engineering of each piece is much more complex than a glowing box.
