Symmetrical Window Abodes

House in Tomigusuku by Rhythmdesign is Aligned with Precision

Rhythmdesign have completed the House in Tomigusuku with an extreme amount of precision. The design looks like a unit of multiple apartments from the outside, but the entire building actually consists of one abode. With the way the windows line up so symmetrically, it fools outsiders into thinking each opening is for the various individual apartments.

The facade is made from a concrete material, and each window has an overhanging ledge to help block owners from the sun. Moreover, the material aids in keeping the unit cool, since it can become quite hot in the summertime. The design of the house is quite simplistic inside, with wood flooring as well as ceilings, which gives the place a very welcoming feel. Photo Credits: designboom, rhythmdesign.org
