Redesigned Pint Glasses

Camden Town Brewery Put a Spin on Traditional Pint Glasses

The classic pint glass has remained relatively unchanged since its inception but London's Camden Town Brewery recently unveiled two redesigned pint glasses. Known as the Jack and the Kenneth, each design offers beer drinkers a better experience and offers a new appearance to iconic glassware. The glasses were designed by British designer Sir Kenneth Grange, who was also responsible for the iconic London Black Taxi and Jack Smith.

The Kenneth is the first of the redesigned pint glasses created with Camden's Hell lager in mind. This is the more traditional of the two glasses and references the tall and slender shape of classic Pilsner glasses.

The Jack is the more inspired of the two redesigned pint glasses and takes inspiration from more contemporary glass designs. This means the Jack is more straight minded and minimalist. The glass is similar to a tumbler, rather than a traditional pint glass, and is more robust in the hand.
