Digitally Designed Whisky Glasses

Norlan's Rauk Whisky Glass is Inspired by Nature

Designer Sruli Recht created the new Rauk whisky glass for Norlan with nature-inspired sensibilities done alongside Jim McEwan. The Rauk is a tumbler made for those who prefer to enjoy their whiskey on ice as it was developed with machine-pressed molten crystal. The crystal is pressed with a five-part mold, a process that allows for the precise base to rest on four different crystal points.

This eludes a visual that gives off a sense that the drink is hovering, designed to be held as its multiple chevron crossing structures deliver friction points to grip onto ingredients in muddled libations. The name is drawn from the Old Scottish translation of "rock" and the glass is the meeting point of advanced digital design and production techniques.
