Planted Serves Up Healthy Takeaway Eats in North Canterbury, New Zealand

Planted is a vegan food truck from Julz and Nolan McGraw, a former dairy farmer and body builder who after changing their own diets to be more healthy and sustainable, wanted to bring more accessible plant-based options to their community in North Canterbury.

To make their offerings more appealing to those who don't typically go for plant-based options, the McGraws include all of the classic comfort food staples on their menu, ranging from hot dogs and burgers to sweet pies and cakes. The couple aims to show others outside of the vegan space that plant-based food isn't all veggie bowls and salads, and that making the lifestyle shift doesn't always mean that they have to give up their favorite dishes.
