Geometric Greenery Shelves

'Garden Modules' is an Abstract Plant Display That's Anchored on Walls

Brazilian-based architect duo Luisa + Lilian Parrado created 'Garden Modules,' an abstract plant display. The materials the twin sisters used for the frame is comprised of steel tubes that are held together with polypropylene string. The shelves used for the plant display are made of concrete.

The abstract geometric design is created through repeated triangular patterns made with the tubing and string. The backing for the wall is an incomplete hexagon. Each unit has two shelves that are housed upon a prism-like frame and gives dimension to the Garden Module.

The uniquely designed plant display, though abstract, is still minimalist with its simple lines and white color. The item would be a good product offering in furniture, homeware and plant stores. Although the garden modules are used for plants, they can also be used to shelve other products and may be a great addition for galleries or and stores to be used as a display unit.
