The ocean is one of the most feared and revered beings on planet earth, and Pierre Carreau captured the beauty, and the fear, involved with water.
In his series entitle 'Waves,' photographer Pierre Carreau has taken pictures of the first curl in a wave. As the wave comes up to shore it begins to turn on itself, and it was at that moment that Carreau took his shot. These pictures showcase all the colors and the prism effects that are created in water. The blues and greens stand out as the standout hues. Pierre Carreau has managed to create an incredible series of photographs that really transports the viewer to a watery wonderland, and it is also a stark reminder of the fear.
