The Philippe Jarrigeon ICONORAMA Displays 10 Years of French Fashion

The Philippe Jarrigeon ICONORAMA collection of photos was an exhibition project undertaken by the French photographer for the Elans de Mode 10 year celebration.

Jarrigeon uses mannequins dressed in dizzying stripes and plastic bag t-shirts to display the evolution of French fashion over the last decade. Jarrigeon creates a bold statement by placing the mannequins in strange haphazard positions. He deconstructs the order of fashion as the models are not wearing the clothes, the clothes wear the models. Bold prints and silky material get thrown and draped over pale, plastic, discombobulated bodies to create visual interest.

The Philippe Jarrigeon ICONORAMA exhibition was an event organized by la Federation Francaise du Pret a Porter Feminin (the French Women's Ready to Wear Federation).
