Pepsi is Venturing into Virtual Collectibles with the Pepsi Mic Drop Collection

Some of the biggest brands in the world are newly minting NFTs and Pepsi is now among them with its new Pepsi Mic Drop collection. This collection features one-of-a-kind generative-style NFTs and they are said to be "anchored in the brand's roots in music." There are 1,893 pieces in the collection and this number recalls the year Pepsi got its start.

As of December 10th, the Pepsi Mic Drop collection will be launching on the Ethereum blockchain and the NFTs will be free for users, outside of the gas fees. Thanks to the way that the non-fungible tokens are generated by an algorithm, each one is totally unique and it tells the story of Pepsi in a different way. Inspired by classic flavors, there are tokens based on classic blue Pepsi, silver Diet Pepsi, red Pepsi Wild Cherry and more.
