Pinched Mid-Section Condos

OMA Presents its Designs for Park Grove in Miami

The development of Park Grove in Miami is still underway, with architecture firm OMA recently contributing the latest design.

Putting an interesting spin on the standard rectangular condo building, OMA has made subtle changes to this traditional look. The mid-section of the condos are pinched in slightly, creating an elongated and curving look. While this change is quite small, it still makes a large difference in how the building appears overall. The condos will also be located right at the water, allowing for amazing views for those who decide to live here. The balcony sections for the units also appear quite spacious (which is not always the case with high rise apartment buildings in North America). Photo Credits: designboom, oma.eu
