The Parasite Eyewear collection has a strange form, but not just because it looks it comes straight out of a sci-fi film. The eyewear pieces use stereo frames, which does not use the traditional arms that are supported on the nose and ears. These unusual glasses keep themselves in place by wrapping around the temples. These glasses rest on the temporal bone, which is more comfortable because it is resting on one of the less sensitive areas on the face.
The aptly titled Parastite Eyewear collection is inspired by insect-like forms like feelers, wings and legs of six-legged creepy crawlies. The glasses are made from stainless steel injected with polyurethane, which makes the glasses lightweight, flexible and durable. The metal construction of the frames also means that they are fully recyclable.
