Media firm ‘panGenerator’ created this magical art installation titled 'Quantum of Peace.' The firm used strings of cascading bullets to remember and honor the lives that were lost during WWII.
This interactive display looks as though it is just a collection of waist-high information panels filled with bullets and facts. However, when a viewer pushes a button, there is an eruption of noise as the panel begins to shake. The sound resemble that of guns being fired. When the shaking is over, the panels display a specific number spelled out in bullets. panGenerator used magnets to ensure the bullets took their proper form. Each number is representative of one piece of war-specific data. Using the digital panel next to the bullets, there is an explanation for what each number represents.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII. As an act of remembrance, this tribute to the Warsaw Uprising was crafted and erected at the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
