Pack Dogs is a Glow-in-the-Dark Exhibit That Uses Old Garbage

Pack Dogs is what you get when you use found objects and add some light and color to the mix. This art project isn't just a garbage collection though, it's an exhibit with a conscience.

Pack Dogs will be a part of the Gyre exhibit and this particular set is specialized to feature light and color. LA sculptor Cynthia Minet looked to connect pollution, specifically the kind that affects Alaska and turn it into a statement about global trash dumping.

While she didn't actually go to Alaska to pick up trash and create her project, she did go dumpster diving to create most of the project. The project features all kinds of garbage including IKEA plastic funnels and an iMac for the dogs.
