Oliba Green Beer is a Pilsner-Style Beer Brewed with Olives

Unlike beer that is dyed green in celebration of St. Patrick's Day, Oliba Green Beer sets itself apart as a unique Pilsner-style beer with no artificial coloring, preservatives, sugars or additives. This beer is the first of its kind in the world that's brewed with Pyrenean olive varieties, which gives it not only a unique color (not unlike freshly pressed extra virgin olive oil) but also a "Mediterranean flavor with a subtle olive touch and a characteristic aroma with floral notes."

The celiac-friendly and gluten-free beer makes the most of Pilsner malt and Czech hops and it is further described as having a smooth, refreshing taste and plenty of creaminess from a persistent white foam.

This unusually colored beer was recently recognized with an Alcoholic Beverages Award at the 2022 SIAL Innovation awards.
