While this may be a joke, Americans pride themselves on their patriotism, something these homages to the classic Presidencies of Lincoln and Washington most definitely represent. Implications - American patriotism seems to always be a crowd pleaser in American politics. As an attack to another opponent, one can always find instances where they have accused one another of not loving their country enough or being patriotic enough. These pictures are in jest, but they do represent a bigger idea of American patriotism that has played an important part in every American election and is no doubt already part of the ongoing one.
