Valrhona has turned the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris into a chocolate variation to mark the reopening of the landmark recently. The French chocolatier introduced a captivating replica of the structure with fine detail and intricate accents. The ambitious chocolate project is entirely edible as well and is more of a work of art than anything else.
It measures "2.2 meters (7.2 feet) long, 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) wide, and 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) high." The chocolate sculpture was led by the talents of Baptiste Moreau along with his team and the creation took about 3,000 hours in total. The team recreated the Gothic details with fine attention along with the iconic gargoyles and rose window. The masterpiece was also made with the help of Hydroprocess and Philippe Velu.
