Mental Health Mood Walls

The 'Not Myself Today' Campaign Inspires a Simple Act

The 'Not Myself Today' campaign used a high-impact installation in the heart of Toronto to engage an open dialogue on mental health. The Toronto-based design studio Blok Design worked with Partners for Mental Health in order to create the campaign and help improve the mental health of Canadians. Using a massive wall at a heavily travelled intersection intrigues passersby, who are then encouraged to take one of the mood pins adorning the wall. The rainbow-colored pins reflect the spectrum of human emotions.

The simple act of wearing one's emotions in public helped those involved share their stories, inspiring pledge support. Blok Design has create a public participatory movement that is beautiful inside and out.

The Not Myself Today campaign shows the world it is okay to wear emotions on your sleeve.
