The Nobis Hotel Copenhagen Blends Iconic Design with Modern Flair

The Nobis Hotel Copenhagen is a beautiful hotel that blends contemporary and classic design. Situated inside a 5,400 square meter building, originally designed by Martin Borch in 1903, the accommodations may appear traditional, but one glance at the interior will show just how innovative the design of this space is. The interior was designed by iconic architect Gert Wingårdh, and seeks to be an updated take on Danish classicism. There are currently 75 rooms available as well as a gym, sauna, cooling room, hammam, bar, lounge and restaurant.

The Nobis Hotel Copenhagen, was created as part of the Designs Hotels collective and is a fine example of a stripped down, but elegant hotel. Balancing the design features of multiple decades, the furniture, decor and fixtures are all meant to play off the classic details of the hotel in a way that is both playful and organic. The original wood, marble and crown moldings transport viewers to a bygone era, while the minimalist pendant and modern furnishings call back to the present. Perfect for modern travelers, the Nobis Hotel Compenhagen is a beautiful space that blends past and present.
