Abstract Firework Photography

Nick Pacione Used Macro Photography to Capture Stunning Images

Last fourth of July, Nick Pacione watched a firework show and used a camera technique in order to take stunning illuminated pictures.

These pictures were taken with a macro lens, and he used a technique called rack focus. This technique changes the focus of the picture, and that is how he was able to create the effects displayed.

This series is entitled Explosions in the Sky, and the abstract shapes that have been produced are incredible. Although you can tell that this is a firework show, it looks as though there are other pieces of installation art that have also been included in the shot.

Nick Pacione has created a gorgeous series that blurs the line between commonly viewed images, and ones that have been altered and are unrecognizable.
