Hydrophobic Sprays

Neverwet is an Amazing Innovation That Makes Water Roll Off Anything

You'll be stunned at this new innovation by Ross Nanotechnology. With Neverwet, you won't ever have to worry about staining your clothes with anything water-based.

Working in a similar fashion to Teflon, the Neverwet spray can be applied to clothing and other surfaces to repel water and other "staining water-based substances," describes Wired. Essentially, the Neverwet spray makes anything that has water (or oil) in it slide right off the surface. According to the makers, it renders surfaces "superhydrophic," which means that when water is dropped onto a surface, the angle between the surface and the water is greater than 150 degrees (droplets that lie flat -- and are absorbed into the surface-- are 0 degrees while droplets that lie in perfect circles are 180 degrees).
