The N2 Building by Lynch Architects is Supported by Concrete

The N2 building the the third out of four buildings that is completed by local firm Lynch Architects and this project was commissioned by developer Landsec as a larger regeneration project around the London Victoria station. The building is supported by a large concrete truss which holds up the gridded volume and it functions as an office block in the city.

The founder of the studio, Patrick Lynch speaks on the design project with Dezeen, sharing "N2 seeks to make sense of the mess of buildings of wildly differing scales, periods, styles, materials and quality that typify the forecourt of London Victoria. Our aim has been to craft a gracious and elegant structure that mediates between the 'too tall' and 'too small in contrast' character of its neighbours, seeking a kind of effortless-seeming unity and urbane harmony."
