Multi-Sensory Dining Installations

This teamLab Experience Makes Mealtime Highly Interactive

'Worlds Unleashed and then Connecting - SAGAYA' is the name of a new multi-sensory dining experience from teamLab in Japan. When diners sit down for a meal at this restaurant in the Ginza district of Tokyo, they are treated to immersive visual projections that cover the walls and table.

These visuals change to match the dishes served, creating a completely interactive, immersive experience. Additionally, the virtual animations released by the different dishes may be influenced by others on the table, as well as the reactions of diners. For instance, a bird may fly across one diner's dish and perch itself on the branch that stems from another diner's plate. Alternatively, if a diner sits still enough, they may even be able to have a bird land on their hand.
