MOBILEYE C2-170 Jeep Hemi Unveiled at SEMA 2009

Wednesday afternoon, the MOBILEYE C2-170 Jeep Hemi was unveiled at a press conference at SEMA 2009. From the outside, the Jeep looks like any other Wrangler, but its interior reveals an advanced auto safety system like that found in brand new luxury vehicles.

According to a release distributed at the demonstration, the MOBILEYE C2-170 Jeep Hemi features a forward collision warning for both highway and urban settings, a lane departure warning, and a headway monitoring and warning system. There are high-intensity LED displays that show headway alerts and vehicle detection indications, making any car equipped with a system like that in the MOBILEYE C2-170 Jeep Hemi every bit as safe as others on the road.

I captured the remarks of Michael Blicher on the MOBILEYE C2-170 Jeep Hemi at the press conference using my point-and-shoot; you can see the video above. I’ll be sure to update this post with a high-resolution video as soon as one is available.
