Copper-Focused Public Squares

West 8 Presents an Idea for the Mesa City Center

The Mesa City Center in Arizona is currently undergoing changes, with quite a few proposals coming through as to what should be done with the place. West 8 has put forward a design, which features a large copper structure in the center.

The copper structure is titled 'The Wind Dancer,' and it gives visitors some much-needed shade, as this part of the United States can become extremely hot in the summer. Other than this central structure, the rest of the area consists of many trees, green spaces and benches for people to relax on. While it's not certain who will be developing this area as of yet, West 8 certainly has a good chance of winning the bid with designs such as this. It's the perfect spot for both kids and adults alike to come and play. Photo Credits: designboom, west8.nl
