Photographing cities with five million up to 25 million people, Michael Wolf's megacity photo series shows both the unusual beauty and cruel living conditions that can be found in Asia's cramped cities.
The German photographer has become used to the millions of people surrounding him since he moved to Hong Kong almost 10 years ago -- and now he wants to share with the world how people live in these chaotic centers in his megacity photo series.
Wolf believes that these sort of cities are like an acquired taste, you either get used to them or you don't.
"The people who run them are not really concerned about the populations that live in them. So on the one hand, they are very intimidating and frightening but on the other hand, they are extremely beautiful," says Wolf about the megacities.
