M+O Completes the Maru House in Japan

When building the Maru House in Japan, M+O Architects had a main goal in mind: to place windows strategically throughout the house that will ensure the residences can follow the time of day due to the placement of the sun.

Although from the outside it doesn't look like too many windows were used, the interior still receives plenty of natural light. Again, due to specific placement the house didn't need floor to ceiling windows. The living room area is quite tall, making the interior feel a lot bigger than it actually is. This effect is ideal for the owners, since the space for building the house was not excessive.
