Some might believe that money can indeed buy happiness, but according to marriage stats by the Office for National Statistics in England, love can bring more happiness than anything else. Steven Swinford of The Telegraph explains that, "being married is 20 times more important to a person’s well-being than their earnings, and 13 times more important than owning a home."
Although the marriage stats might startle some because of the high influx of divorce that's present here in the West and in other spots around the world, it's clear from the studies that taking the time to find love can be far more beneficial for our health than working tirelessly to establish wealth.
The studies were conducted across Great Britain over the course of roughly a year from spring 2011 to spring 2012.
