These four Manshausen cabins, designed by noted architect Snorre Stinessen, are situated in Manshausen Island on the Grotoya strait right off the coast of Northern Norway. This cabin is designed to host people who visit the area to take part in some of the nature-centric activities on offer in the area including scuba diving, kayaking, cycling, climbing and hiking, and eventually feel the need to relax in a comfortable cabin.
The Manshausen cabins are designed to 'hang' over the edge of the water. One end of the cabin is glazed while there is full glazing either side of it, enabling occupants to look over the coast as well as over the water above which the cabin hangs.
These cabins are designed not just to give people a place to rest, but a place to marvel at the gorgeous body of water in front of then.
