Working with a limited budget, the architects chose a rectangular layout to maximize space. The architects explain, "The root of the project arises from basic geometric figure the rectangle, which allows a simple location of the house in the area, taking into account the orientation and the views."
The timber-planked interior contrasts nicely with the asphalt exterior, creating a distinctly nautical aesthetic. The vibrant front door opens into an open-concept kitchen, living and dining area, which is framed by a sliding glass door which opens towards the garden.
