Why am I not surprised that this Mae West Room installation is inspired by the influential and idiosyncratic Salvador Dali? After all, he's been tripping people out for nearly a century now, he might as well continue the tradition long after he's left this world.
The Mae West Room exhibition is based on one of Dali's original paintings and the face itself is made with five unique objects in the room installation: a lip-shaped sofa, two scenic photographs, a nose-shaped fireplace and a hair-covered doorway. What's truly amazing is the exhibit's fidelity to Dali's "Il volto di Mae West" painting as they've emulated the floorboards, wall paint and pretty much everything else down to a tee.
