Sustainable Brand Pledges

L'Oreal USA Will Use 100% Sustainable Packaging by 2025

A small percentage of corporations are responsive for the bulk of environmental damage that's contributing to the climate crisis, and L'Oreal USA is doing its part to limit its footprint by pledging to attaining 100% sustainable packaging by the year 2025.

The beauty brand aims to achieve this goal in less than five years by collecting an extensive list of single-use plastics by 2021. From there, the brand will begin ridding its inventory of it as it seeks more environmentally conscious alternatives. This pledge came after L'Oreal signed the Plastics Pact which is led by The Recycling Partnership and World Wildlife Fund (WWF). This pledge aims to help brands and consumers re-think the way plastic is consumed.
