This Comic Imagines Walden Pond with Wifi and Smartphones

This comic is a satirical piece that references the classic Walden story "Life In The Woods."

In the original story Henry David Thoreau removes himself from civilization to find peace, solitude and enlightenment amongst nature. He retreats to a log cabin on some rural land owned by a friend and lives there in isolation with the goal of a simple lifestyle. He wants to be self sufficient and also gain perspective on society through personal reflection.

This comic uses the "Life In The Woods" story as the basis for its humor, but updates it to imagine what it would look like today. The comic satirizes the pure, environmental sentiments of the original story by adding laptops and smartphones to the equation.
