Life Affirming Art

‘Where You At' Exhibit by Paul Snowden Makes You Appreciate Life

‘Where You At’ is the title of artist Paul Snowden latest exhibition at the Galerie Sandra Bürgel in Berlin, Germany. The show features a black granite gravestone inscribed with the famous F-word on it. Also in the show are two neon light artworks with the wording ‘Choose Life’ and ‘Amen’ on them.

Clearly this is a conceptual installation forcing the viewer to contemplate life and death, and not least spur you to stop and smell the roses before life has passed you by, because who wants to have profane words inscribed on their gravestone?

The artist Paul Snowden was born in Auckland, New Zealand and now lives and works in Berlin. The exhibition is on until March 21th.
