The Newest Lay's Chips Taste Like Spicy, Tangy Pico de Gallo

Pico de Gallo usually goes well with chips, but this new Lay's chips flavor saves you the trouble of having to do any salsa-scooping. As described on the chip bag itself, the new flavor was inspired by one of Lay's own employees, Samuel Oliveros.

Traditionally, pico de gallo is made up from freshly chopped tomato, onions and chili peppers, so these chips naturally have a bit of a spice to them, which you might be able to figure out from the slightly red coloring that coats the potato chips. The chips are made with ingredients like pico de gallo seasoning, tomato powder, cilantro, sour cream and paprika and although it wouldn't likely have the same freshness as a newly made batch of pico de gallo would, this flavor does sound pretty intriguing.
