Lammily Doll is The New Improved Barbie

Barbie was every girl's first best friend but her unrealistic body type has caused so many girls to believe they were less than beautiful and that's why Artist Nickolay Lamm created the Lammily Doll.

The Lammily doll was based on the real proportions of a 19 year old woman. Lamm started the project with kickstarter when he became aware of the urgent need for an "average" Barbie which may never exist.

His doll has almost no make up and brown hair. The Lammily line promotes looking normal with the tagline: "Average is beautiful".

The doll also promotes active living. She can move her wrists, knees and elbows. Unlike Barbie, she enjoys sneakers and sensible heals.

The Lammily doll actually looks like a healthy human being;she's a way better role model than Barbie!
