C3 created a new delivery-only restaurant concept called Krispy Rice as a casual offshoot of Katsuya—specifically, the entire concept was built around Katsuya's signature spicy tuna "krispy rice." On the Krispy Rice menu, consumers are able to order items like king salmon with yuzu and plant-based truffle avocado, plus handrolls, maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Diners have plenty of flexibility when they order, as they can make a la carte selections or choose from a trio of combinations based on how hungry they feel. Notably, the restaurant is passionate about working with high-quality, responsibly sourced fish and in place of sugar, it uses monk fruit to sweeten the sushi rice and sauce.
