Madsen and Vester Show off the Kinship Exhibition in Copenhagen

Designer Birgitte Due Madsen works in collaboration with Anne Dorthe Vester and curator Henriette Noermark to unveil the Kinship exhibition. It is made from a blend of marble, resin, and wooden furniture that is meant to encourage collaboration. The show is at the Alice Folker gallery in Copenhagen and highlights 18 designs that use the aforementioned materials. It features work by both Madsen and Vester including the hanging artworks and resin Lucid chair.

The collective tells Dezeen that "As a group of three individuals who thrive in collaborative environments, it was natural for us to come together for this collaboration. We wanted to explore collaboration while focusing on our individual strengths, existing work, and experiences. Each of us brings different skill sets, backgrounds and practices, which we wanted to showcase in this exhibition. The exhibition delves into the exploration of collaboration by placing a spotlight on the individuals involved."
