Local design firm Delve Architects uses glazed green tiles when creating the Kim-oflage garden studio. The tiles come together to create a camouflage look that blends in perfectly with the surrounding trees and bushes. The name of the garden blends the clients' names together" Kit and Imogen, and camouflage. Th garden studio reflects the previous extension and replaces black timber cladding with the glazed tiles and green window frames.
Designer Philip Russel speaks more about the design to Dezeen, noting "Given the narrow, confined nature of the site at the end of the garden, with neighbors on both sides, we aimed to reduce the visual mass with a dual pitched roof and green tiled facade blending into the garden. Our aim was to foster a seamless connection between the home and garden, blending in with its surrounding environment and providing an environment for work, relaxation, and leisure."
