Michel Ducaroy takes on a reissued design project for Ligne Roset which takes the classic Kashima sofa originally created in 1976 and alters it with a more modern angle. The Kashima sofa has been known to be the 'comfortable Chesterfield' because of its quilted texture design and it even has a buttoned backrest borrowed from the traditional English sofa.
The construction fully uses foam materials and it comes in four different densities of foam -- all of these are clad in a polyester quilting for a soft touch. According to the brand, this is the most elaborate fully foam sofa in the series as the nest-like seating and high density of the foam have a long life.
