Le Pain Quotidien is Serving a New Plant-Based JUST Egg Frittata

Hot on the heels of Saxbys' new Plant-Powered Breakfast Sandwich, the restaurant chain Le Pain Quotidien has announced that it will begin serving a new vegan-friendly JUST Egg Frittata.

As of September 18th, Le Pain Quotidien will be replacing its original frittata, with a vegan-friendly version. The new version is made with the mung bean-based JUST Egg, which is meant to serve as a plant-based alternative to chicken eggs. In addition to the JUST Egg, the JUST Egg Frittata will also include almond milk, roasted butternut squash, broccoli, and caramelized onions. As Le Pain Quotidien US President Lou Ramirez explained, "At Le Pain Quotidien, we’re always striving to provide delicious, health-conscious, and eco-friendly offerings... We’re excited to roll out this protein-packed offering and a variety of other vegan options on our fall menu."
