Celebrity Chopstick Portraits

This Piece of Jackie Chan Art is Made From 64,000 Chopsticks

Rather than taking pen to paper or brush to canvas, this unique piece of Jackie Chan art by artist Red Hong Yi is made up of thousands of chopsticks. The unconventional portrait was made by grouping bundles of chopsticks together strategically, forming solids and voids that actually do bear a striking likeness to the features of Jackie Chan. As if the material choice for this portrait isn't unique enough, the chopsticks are suspended in the air thanks to wire hangings, which makes it take on the colors of its surroundings since it is essentially put together in a giant open frame.

In total, 64,000 chopsticks were used to create this impressive celebrity portrait—you could eat a lot of sushi with that.
