Elegantly Designed Italian Museums

Snøhetta's Structure is Situated on a Mountain Top

Design studio Snøhetta reveals the visualization of an Italian museum, situated in the mountains of Bolzano. The structure absolutely takes advantage of its panoramic location with a "stepped roof that doubles as a viewpoint."

The institution goes by the name of 'Museum Quarter' and Snøhetta's design is elongated in appearance, featuring an abundance of public outdoor spaces. In a sense, the architecture firm sought out to create "a synthesis of city and nature, of history and future, of building and landscape, of culture, leisure, and knowledge." Thanks to the communal features and the highly designed exhibiting facilities, the Italian museum appears to be on-track for satisfying these concepts.

In addition to the educational value of the destination, Snøhetta is looking forward to promoting outdoor activity by incorporating areas for walking, hiking, and biking around the Italian museum.
