Monochromatic Memento Installations

Explore the International Orange Commemorative Store

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, artist Stephanie Syjuco has unveiled an installation dubbed, 'The International Orange Commemorative Store.' The gift shop-themed piece honors the official paint color of the San Francisco landmark

Every single object in this souvenir shop is decked out in the warm, earthy International Orange shade -- #C0362C to be exact. The shop is filled with books, postcards, keychains, jewelry and pottery, saturated in the famous Golden Gate hue. The work questions the notions of travel and how merchandise has become an integrable part of the experience. Visitors can take home a free memento -- a vibrant postcard -- as a reminder that not all great adventures are costly.

Commissioned as part of the 'International Orange' art exhibit, the installation will be on display until October 28 in Fort Point, San Francisco.
