The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 Pool Blue expands the brand's sports watch collection with a 35 mm stainless steel case and a vibrant blue-green dial inspired by summer. Based on Gérald Genta's 1976 Ingenieur SL design, the watch retains the integrated bracelet, five-screw bezel, and signature grid-pattern dial that define the Ingenieur line. Rhodium-plated hands and hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova® improve legibility in low-light conditions, while a sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the mechanical movement within the compact case.
Powering the watch is IWC's in-house Caliber 47110 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve, central hacking seconds, and a discreet date display. Decorative finishes include Geneva stripes, circular graining, and a gold-plated oscillating weight visible through the sapphire caseback. The compact dimensions make the release a smaller addition to the Ingenieur lineup while preserving its integrated sports watch design.
