Industrial Warehouse Coffee Shops

This Cobuke Coffee Location is Situated in an Old Warehouse

Located in the Kobuke district of Chiba in Japan, this Cobuke Coffee location is situated in an old industrial warehouse as a way to help use existing architecture. The district is located one hour east of Tokyo and is mostly an area that's filled with factories and family homes. As such, the Cobuke Coffee location comes as a strange yet stylish new addition to the neighborhood.

The design of the Cobuke Coffee location consists of the front portion of the warehouse in tact with new furnishings and finishes added. Doors were added to the front window to offer access into the industrial warehouse without detracting from the original design of the building.

The Cobuke Coffee cafe features furniture that was custom-made by a local architecture firm called kurosawa kawaraten.
