The Hoseo University in South Korea found an interesting way to entice its students to use the library facility for studying with the creation of a metallic indoor slide embedded into the library's overall design. The added feature taps into student's nostalgia of playing at the playground creating the correlation that the library is a space that facilitates the same type of fun.
The library slide was put together by a team at the DongWoo Architects that chose a creative way to entice students to spend more time at the library. The slide is a metallic tube that spans two stories of the library. Students are welcomed to take the slide and add an adrenaline rush to their mundane study sessions.
